Hello and welcome! I’m so excited you’re here!
I’m Bonnie…a perfectionist and a natural born organizer. As someone who is easily overwhelmed, I’m often paralyzed by perfectionism and have learned how to choose good enough over perfection. (Actually, I’m still learning, but I’ve come a long way!) I’m looking forward to sharing what works for me, in hopes of inspiring you to find what works for you.
You may be wondering, what exactly is a strategic perfectionist? My definition of a strategic perfectionist is one who takes careful consideration in choosing what deserves or qualifies for perfection attention.
For so long, I thought that everything had to be perfect. If I couldn’t do it “right” (the first time), I sometimes wouldn’t even begin at all, which led to some serious procrastination. Now, I realize it’s okay to break down tasks and do a little at a time, when you have or find the time. Not everything has to be done all at once or perfectly! Sometimes just getting a little done is an amazing accomplishment!
Routines and schedules are my love language. They keep me grounded. I have found that planning ahead makes time management easier. I work smarter, not harder, which helps me find balance.
My greatest accomplishment in life is my two beautiful children. Although one of them is no longer physically with us, I feel so grateful and blessed to be their mom.
Thank you for joining me as I share the journey of choosing good enough over perfection.
